Living
I Laying Here
A wallaby asked a goose a question in the late 2000s, received one sentence of advice, and has been on the beach ever since
The advice was: go clean up the beach.
It came from a lectern, in the late 2000s, from a goose. Sandy had asked the question from the floor — whether the work hanging in that room seriously addressed the environmental impacts it kept naming, or only named them. The goose took the question seriously enough to pause. Then the goose said go clean up the beach. People wrote it down. The evening ended on it, the way evenings do when someone says a short thing well.
Sandy went.
That the review.
